The Pueblo Convention Center will open with limited capacities starting July 1, 2020. Capacities will be limited to no more than 100 people per room — and updated policies and procedures have been put in place prior to welcoming back guests next month.
Spectra’s re-opening plan for the Convention Center was created using industry standards and recommendations, and guidance from the State of Colorado, the City of Pueblo, Pueblo Urban Renewal Authority and the Pueblo City-County Health Department.
Below is a summary of the key elements of the plan:
CLEANING AND SANITIZATION
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
As we prepare to re-open our facility, the Pueblo Convention Center and Spectra have created a comprehensive re-opening plan intended to safeguard the health and safety of our employees, guests, talent, and partners. We have worked with various health authorities locally and regionally to create this plan.
The situation is fluid and these guidelines may change with time. Check back often for updates.
We have taken enhanced health and safety measures to protect our venue guests. However, there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the CDC, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By entering the venue, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and Venue disclaims any and all liability related thereto.
In accordance with the guidance and recommendations set forth by the CDC and local health officials, we respectfully request that the following guests not attend tonight’s event:
All patrons entering the venue will be encouraged to wear a facial covering or mask and keep it on at all times while in the venue.
The Pueblo Convention Center and our Administrative office is currently closed. For questions about booking or attending upcoming events, please call 719-542-1100.
We look forward to re-opening the facility in the safest way possible. We are taking every measure to ensure that we provide our guests with an exceptional experience as we prepare to gather together again.
As we receive more guidance from the State of Colorado and the City of Pueblo, we will provide further updates about our adjusted policies and procedures here and on our social media channels. The Pueblo Convention Center continues to work on policies and procedures to keep all our guest safe.
As we plan to re-open, we will implement many changes including:
